Shipping and Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Timeline

You hereby agree that all delivery dates mentioned on zerses.com are estimates only, unless a fixed delivery date has been expressly agreed upon in writing. Standard delivery timelines are:

  • Metro Cities: 3-5 business days
  • Other Cities: 5-7 business days
  • Remote Areas: 7-10 business days
  • North East & Kashmir: 10-12 business days

*Business days exclude Sundays and public holidays

2. Shipping Charges

Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on:

  • Free Shipping: On orders above ₹999
  • Standard Shipping: ₹79 for orders below ₹999
  • Express Delivery: ₹149 (Metro cities only, 1-2 days)
  • COD Charges: Additional ₹49 for Cash on Delivery orders

Shipping charges are non-refundable except when the entire order is cancelled as per our cancellation policy.

3. Order Processing Time

  • Orders placed before 2 PM are processed same day
  • Orders placed after 2 PM are processed next business day
  • Custom or made-to-order items may require additional 2-3 days
  • During sale periods, add 1-2 extra days for processing

4. Shipping Partners

We ship through reputable courier partners including:

  • Delhivery
  • BlueDart
  • DTDC
  • India Post (for remote pin codes)

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched:

  • You will receive tracking details via SMS and email
  • Track your order on our website using Order ID
  • For real-time updates, use the courier partner’s website
  • Contact us if tracking shows no movement for 48 hours

6. Delivery Process

  • Delivery attempted during business hours (10 AM – 7 PM)
  • Valid ID proof may be required for high-value orders
  • OTP verification required for prepaid orders above ₹5000
  • Maximum 3 delivery attempts will be made
  • Undelivered packages return to us after failed attempts

7. Delivery Address

  • Ensure complete and accurate address with pin code
  • Include landmark and contact number for smooth delivery
  • Address changes allowed only within 2 hours of order placement
  • We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses

8. Non-Delivery Situations

If you do not receive your order within 7 days after the estimated delivery date, you must promptly contact us at support@zerses.com. We will:

  • Investigate with the courier partner within 24 hours
  • Provide status update within 48 hours
  • Arrange reshipment or refund if package is lost
  • File insurance claim for lost packages if applicable

9. Failed Delivery Charges

If delivery fails due to customer-related reasons:

  • Incorrect address: Re-delivery charges of ₹100 apply
  • Recipient unavailable after 3 attempts: Return shipping charges apply
  • Order rejection at doorstep: Two-way shipping charges apply

10. Delivery Restrictions

We currently ship only within India. We do not deliver to:

  • International addresses
  • Military cantonments (without prior approval)
  • Areas marked as “non-serviceable” by courier partners

11. Special Delivery Instructions

  • Gift wrapping available for ₹49 extra
  • Contactless delivery available on request
  • Specific delivery date requests subject to feasibility
  • Bulk orders may have different delivery timelines

12. Peak Season/Festival Delays

During festivals and sale seasons (Diwali, Holi, End of Season Sales), please expect:

  • Additional 2-3 days in delivery time
  • Limited express delivery availability
  • Higher minimum order value for free shipping

13. Package Opening

We recommend:

  • Open package in front of delivery personnel
  • Check for external damage before accepting
  • Record video while opening for expensive items
  • Report damages immediately with photographic proof

14. Force Majeure

Delivery delays due to circumstances beyond our control including natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, or government restrictions will not make us liable for compensation, though we will make best efforts to deliver as soon as possible.

16. Delivery Confirmation

Delivery is considered complete when:

  • Package is handed to recipient or authorized person
  • Delivery confirmation SMS/email is sent
  • Courier partner marks status as “Delivered”
